About Us

History of Faculty
Hasan Kalyoncu University is a foundation university located in Gaziantep. The establishment of the university dates back to 2008. The university started its academic life in 2009-2010. Faculty of Fine Arts and Architecture was established in the 2012-2013 academic year. The faculty includes departments of Architecture, Interior Architecture and Environmental Design. In addition to its undergraduate education, it continues to contribute to meeting the need for experts and researchers in our country and region by continuing its education at the postgraduate level with its master’s and doctoral programs.
Departments
The Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design accepts students based on the EA score type. It has a quota of 70 students, consisting of 25 full scholarship, 15 partial scholarship, and 30 self-funded students.The Architecture Department admits students based on the SAY score type. It has a quota of 35 students, with 20 being full scholarship and 15 being partial scholarship recipients.
Scholarship Opportunities
In addition to scholarships determined by centralized exams, students have the opportunity to benefit from achievement scholarships within the quota set by the Board of Trustees throughout their academic journey. Students who complete their undergraduate programs with top honors are encouraged to continue their postgraduate studies with scholarships, either with a thesis or non-thesis track, to specialize in their fields.
Student Exchange Programs
Departments of our Faculty, which work together with world universities, continue their cooperation in the field of higher education with the European Union (EU) with the ERASMUS+ Program within the EU Higher Education Qualifications Framework. Our department, which supports students in the national student exchange program FARABI program, also continues its work in the MEVLANA Exchange Program, which aims to exchange students and faculty members between higher education institutions providing education in Turkey and higher education institutions providing education abroad.
